The Spanish Floorball Association (AEUF) has officially presented the 2026 3v3 Floorball World Championships at the Samaranch Hall of the Spanish National Sports Council (CSD). The tournament, which will take place from 12 to 14 June in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, will bring together 51 national teams —both men’s and women’s— representing all five continents.
"The Spanish Floorball Association (AEUF) is presenting the 2026 3v3 Floorball World Championships this Wednesday, 22 April at 12:00, at the Samaranch Hall of the Spanish National Sports Council (CSD). The event is supported by the Fundación Deporte Joven through the ‘España Compite’ programme.”
The championship, which will take place from 12 to 14 June in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, debuts as an independent tournament following the 2024 and 2025 editions, previously linked to the U19 World Championships.
The presentation brings together institutional, sporting and international representatives, including officials from the host city of San Lorenzo de El Escorial; the captains of the Spanish men’s and women’s 3v3 national teams; diplomatic representatives; and Aitor Canibe, Director of the Fundación Deporte Joven at the CSD.
The 2026 edition will, for the first time, feature national teams from all five continents, with a total of 51 international teams competing in a dynamic and engaging format. The tournament will also welcome debuting nations such as Brazil, Côte d’Ivoire, and the Solomon Islands, further establishing San Lorenzo de El Escorial as an international benchmark for floorball.
